Jay Rooney founded DepositLink in 2017 after 23 years as one of the top-producing real estate agents in Massachusetts and the Broker/Owner of GKR Residential. As CEO, Jay oversees the sales efforts, marketing, customer support, and the software development roadmap at DepositLink. Jay is a graduate of Salisbury School (CT) and Tufts University and is a member of the FinTech Professionals Association. He is a huge Boston sports fan and currently lives in Milton, MA, with his wife Carolyn, son Nathan, and daughters Victoria and Olivia.

Darrell has over 35 years of experience working in accounting, finance, and private equity. As CFO, Darrell oversees accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and capital raising for DepositLink. Darrell is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School, qualified as a CPA in New York State, and received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Darrell enjoys skiing with his family, traveling in Italy, coaching youth baseball, and is an avid New York Yankees fan.

Brian has worked in software development for over 20 years in various industries, including real estate, finance, and healthcare. Taking DepositLink from concept to reality, Brian is responsible for building the mobile responsive platform from the ground up. As CTO, Brian oversees all software and technology-related decisions, provides leadership through his knowledge of technology, technological trends, and advancements, and oversees all internal IT support and growth. As an avid skier Brian, enjoys skiing with his family and friends in New England, with a trip out west whenever possible.

Mark Gibbons was named Vice President of Sales for DepositLink in October 2019. Previously, Mark spent 20+ years as a top producing agent in the highly competitive Boston suburbs market. As Sales VP, Mark oversees and reports on all daily sales activities and client training initiatives while maintaining key customer relationships and partnerships. Mark enjoys going to the beach with his wife Sarah and four children, coaching little league baseball, and rooting on all Boston sports teams.

Carolyn has 17 years of combined sales experience, working for over a decade in media sales and, more recently, for a direct-to-consumer premium skincare brand. As Director of Business Development, Carolyn is responsible for cultivating new business, securing customer loyalty, and forging strong relationships with business partners. Carolyn is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with a B.A. in Communications. Carolyn enjoys spending time outside, exercising, and being a rock star mom to her three kids.

Jim has over 30 years of strategy development, finance, marketing, and operational experience across the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors. Jim has advised numerous companies in various industries, including technology, financial services, and education. Jim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the College of Holy Cross and an MBA with distinction from Harvard University. Jim has a passion for youth development, helping students succeed, and any New York sports team.

Elicia comes to DepositLink with 10+ years of experience at various startup technology companies as a Director of Operations. Outside of work, she is active in her local community and spends a lot of time with family and friends, including her Yorkie Amber.

Liz is an onboarding specialist who loves welcoming new clients to DepositLink. She has been working in customer service, sales and support for 17 years after receiving her BFA from James Madison University. In her free time you can find Liz gardening, being active and hanging with her husband, three kids, dog, cat and 6 chickens in Rhode Island.

As a software engineer, Doug brings to DepositLink a wide range of industry experience across the full stack of web development technologies, focusing on back-end programming. He has helped build and maintain all kinds of web software systems, old and new alike. Doug received his bachelor's degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2016. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, cross-country skiing, and being an all-around geek.

After graduating from UConn with his degree in Computer Engineering, James began his career developing embedded software for nuclear submarines. James joins the DepositLink team as a Software Engineer, focusing mainly on DepositLink’s back-end. James continues to expand his software skills during his free time through video game development. When he’s not coding, he likes to spend his time staying active by playing tennis and skateboarding.

Tom is a Frontend Developer on the engineering team here at DepositLink. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Worcester State University and later a Full Stack Web Development Certificate from the University of New Hampshire. He joins us after spending 12+ years working in state government. When not working, Tom enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, Lainie, and three children, Olivia, Cristina, and Tommy Jr., in their hometown, Leominster, Ma.

Tyler is a frontend web developer with over 4 years of experience in building websites. He has worked in both freelance and fast-paced corporate environments, designing and developing webpages and gaining valuable skills and knowledge in the field. In addition to his professional pursuits, Tyler likes to spend his spare time playing video games, creating digital art, and occasionally making music. He has been working on a teen fantasy novel with his younger brother for the past 7 years and they plan to release it soon.

Jes has spent her whole life tinkering to make every day a little better. Her interest in improving the lives of others led her to an education in design, achieving a B.S. in Industrial Design, a certificate in UX/UI User-Centered Design, and a certificate in Human-Centered Healthcare Design. Jes has worked as a packaging prototyper, store designer, and web developer. She attributes her past work experiences to what makes her an intuitive designer. Jes enjoys creating above all. Her days away from the office are filled with paintbrushes and toolboxes.
